CoastFI ("we," "our," "the site," accessible at coastfi.co) is a free calculator tool. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit, how it's used, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

The calculators on this site run entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter into the sliders (age, savings, income, spending, etc.) are not sent to our servers, stored, or logged — they exist only in your browser's memory while the page is open.

Separately, like most websites, we automatically collect limited technical data when you visit, including:

Pages viewed and time spent on the site
General location (country/city level, derived from IP address)
Device, browser type, and referring website

This is collected through analytics tools (see Section 3) and is not linked to your name or identity.

2. Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them, and allow third-party partners to use them, for:

Analytics — understanding how visitors use the site, in aggregate
Advertising — third-party ad providers (see Section 3) may use cookies to show relevant ads and measure their performance

3. Advertising and third parties

This site may display ads served by Google AdSense and its advertising partners. Google and its partners use cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the limited data we or our partners hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Since we don't collect personally identifying information directly, most such requests should be directed to the relevant third-party provider (e.g., Google, via the links above). 5. Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date.
